Door Hardware Scheduler & Estimator


Main Responsibilities and Challenges

  • Interpret architectural drawings to create full Assa Abloy ironmongery schedules and quotes. 
  • Understand how to assess and understand floor plans, elevations and any other information provided by the architect. 
  • Have the ability to propose suitable products based on the fire and acoustic requirements for each project. 
  • Prepare hardware schedules and quotes on a timely basis and work efficiently using the Assa Abloy scheduling software.
  • Be able to communicate with the specification team on product selection, as well as demonstrate the confidence to discuss projects directly with architects and contractors. 
  • Be an integral part of the team and attend sales meetings to discuss project pipelines.

Background and Personal Qualities



  • Have a minimum of 3 years previous experience in scheduling door hardware.
  • Have an understanding of door hardware scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of BIM software such as Revit would be an advantage.




  • Degree qualified or relevant industry experience.
  • GAI Diploma holder would be preferred but not essential.
