Service Delivery Manager PDM

The Application Management Services organization is a global function within ASSA ABLOY Global IT Shared Service Center (GSSC). 

GSSC is managing ASSA ABLOYs shared infrastructure and global applications.


As a member of the Application Management Services organization, you will be part of a team responsible for operations of a portfolio of global and applications, working closely with stakeholders from business, internal IT organizations and external partners.

The role will focus on the operational aspects of provisioning global IT services, however you'll be involved in the whole lifecycle of one or a couple of application services.


What you will be doing   

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is the common global PLM system at ASSA ABLOY. This system is the place where all group companies may store and share their Product Data originals. PLM is also known as PDM (Product Data Management).


The ASSA ABLOY PLM system is based on Teamcenter, a commercial PLM system from Siemens Industrial Software.

You are responsible for delivering PLM service within the agreed delivery framework (ITIL/ITSM), service levels, budget, IT security and customer requirements. Furthermore, you will manage service dependencies to infrastructure and integrations with other application services.



  • Create a plan for delivering a technical platform that is aligning with business expectations on availability and performance.
  • Ensure that service operations is delivered according to an agreed budget.
  • Be a mentor for a high performance team of functional specialists at our offshore partner.
  • Ensure that PLM is delivered and supported in compliance with customer and IT security requirements, IT infrastructure standards, service management processes and company policies.
  • Ensure that the description and documentation of the specific service including Knowledge Base and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is correct and up-to-date.
  • Pro-actively suggest and implement efficiency improvements for the service.


What we are looking for   

You are truly passionate about what you do and have extensive experience working with IT Service Management. You have Expert knowledge in ITIL Service and Delivery Processes and experience of integrating those in an international environment. Several years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter or similar product data management system is required. 


You have strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills accompanied with a team player attitude and customer focused mindset. You have the ability to communicate in the English language verbally and in writing. 


Skills and competency

  • Very deep understanding of the PLM/PDM domain, minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Hands on experience of Simens Teamcenter PLM system.
  • Hands on experience of driving operations of Siemens Teamcenter PLM technical platform.
  • Passion for software quality and end user experience.
  • Good understanding of industrial development processes for Mechatronic Products.
  • Service delivery management skills (ITIL framework).
