Regional Sales Manager

Role Summary:Regional Sales Manager - South West (Covering West Midlands, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Avon, Devon Cornwall, South and Mid Wales. Ideal location around Bristol

 

Main Responsibilities and Challenges:

  • Achieving all agreed sales and gross profit targets
  • Identifying prospect accounts
  • Visiting all existing accounts within an agreed journey plan and promoting the Exidor product range
  • Identifying and visiting all prospective customers within the area
  • Quoting for new business opportunities
  • Relationship building with the customer base
  • Giving correct technical advice to customers
  • Liaising on delivery lead times between the factory and the customer
  • Holding bi-annual business review meetings with all customers to identify opportunities and business trends
  • Collection of overdue money, where necessary
  • Ensuring that the customers literature is up to date
  • Submitting reports to agreed deadlines
  • Attending and contributing to quarterly sales meetings
  • Understanding competitors and identifying business threats
  • Preparing a yearly are budget for discussion with the Sales & marketing Director
  • Completion of call reports
  • Identifying new product opportunities including sales volumes and values
  • Assisting with customer complaints and fitting problems
  • Arranging agreed goods to be returned
  • Assist with on boarding of new staff into the business by helping with Training and providing information and assistance.

  • Take pro-active responsibility for the improvement of KPI's by providing data to Management and actions plans for improvement.

 

Background and Personal Qualities:

Experience:

 

  • Experience of direct distribution selling within any industry
  • Professional sales training
  • Min. 2 years' territory sales experience
  • Experience of working autonomously

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Good level of Mathematics and English
  • Ability to competently use MS Excel

    & MS Word

  • Ability to understand data and identify sales trends
