Director, E-Commerce Programs

ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions provides end-users (healthcare facilities, schools, universities, military, commercial buildings, etc.) with unsurpassed security and life-safety solutions and the essential support services (LEED consultation, code compliance, access control system integration, product research and selection, specification writing services, technical support, etc.) to ensure well-functioning doorway systems in the commercial building industry. This is all accomplished by combining the strengths of industry-leading door and hardware brands. ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions is recruiting a Director, E-Commerce Programs. 

Responsible for managing the company's online business initiatives and delivering actionable insights that lead to improved product availability, customer service, fulfilment performance and increased sales.

Individual will be responsible for defining the strategic vision for digital commerce businesses including policies that guide our relationship with authorized distributor partners and resellers.

This role requires someone who has an outstanding and proven track record of developing and driving a differentiated digital commerce business that has resulted in sustained profitable growth. The ideal candidate will bring outstanding management and leadership experience and expertise in driving an enterprise towards achieving a common goal.


  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Management or related discipline.

  • MBA is preferred.

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in distribution management or channel development.

  • Possess a strong working knowledge of ASSA ABLOY brands and opening solutions.

  • Must have previous experience directly leading an e-commerce business initiative.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, exhibiting a high degree of initiative and track record of driving team engagement.

  • Innovative mindset; a critical thinker with strong bias for action.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence/inspire key decision makers across the organization.

  • Must be self-motivated/self-starting, be an active listener, and provide efficient and effective follow up to outstanding actions.

  • Must be able to operate seamlessly within a collaborative team environment and provide tangible value within a highly complex organization. 

  • Must possess strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to develop, track and manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously and successfully.

  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.Must be detail-oriented with strong organization and follow up skills.

  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Power Point, Word, and Excel, etc.
